Sales Representative
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new leads, including heavy cold-calling
- Manage accounts to maintain existing customer relationships and grow share of business
- Negotiate and pitch services to customers and carrier
- Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with clients
- Collaborate with your team on pricing decisions, supplier selection and deadlines
- Update information within internal systems
Qualifications:
- Direct sales experience preferred
- A college degree in business, logistics or transportation field preferred
- Entrepreneurial spirited, with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Has a team player mentality, and the desire to learn
